The Friends of the Library are committed to supporting
the mission of serving the communities in Avery, Mitchell and Yancey
Counties with quality library services.
This organization of individuals raises money for
library projects, hosts events at the libraries and provides a
resource for library employees to turn to if an extra helping hand is
