Spruce Pine Riverside Story Trail presents
‘Poetry in the Park’
The book Daniel Finds a Poem by Micha Archer is now featured on the Riverside Story Trail at Riverside Park in Spruce Pine, with audio accompaniments in English and Spanish. We hope you will visit and enjoy this wonderful book that features a boy finding poetry in everyday life.
We are planning to celebrate poets of all ages in our community! If you or someone you know writes poetry, please submit up to three original poems. Your work will be displayed at the Spruce Pine Library, on the Story Trail and/or featured in the Mitchell News Journal as we celebrate National Poetry Month in April.
