HOLIDAY: all public libraries and regional office are CLOSED today

All public libraries are open. Due to staff shortages, Spruce Pine Public Library will open at noon on Friday, Jan. 28, and Mitchell County Public Library (Bakersville location) will be CLOSED on Saturdays. Please keep in mind that our parking lots, steps, and entry ways may still be covered in snow and ice in some spots.

Due dates on materials will be extended due to the snow. No late fees during this time.
